E' un accordo per la costituzione di una joint venture per le navi militari fra il gruppo EDGE e Fincantieri negli Emirati Arabi Uniti, maggioranza del 51% per il gruppo EDGE.
Prevede la costituzione di una design authority specifica, proprietà intellettuale della join venture, prelazione sui contratti non NATO (ed lacuni stati NATO), ...
Opportunità, ma anche rischio di veder il proprio know-how prendere dopo alcuni anni altre vie, se non gestita bene.
Quanto alle eventuali navi da costruire in parte in Italia, decideranno gli EAU se, quali, quante, ...
Ad oggi è stato firmato quello che di fatto è un pre-accordo.

La cosa curiosa è che da un lato Fincantieri costruisce la flotta del Qatar e dall'altro crea una joint venture con gli EAU per le costruzioni navali. . -

The allocation actualy call procurement of Frigates of FREMM types or similar. Which's now seems being rumours switch to PPA, or combo PPA and FREMM. This means after AF got Rafale, most their other procurement plan in this term being switch for Navy Frigates. All that project being switch, potentially being forward to next term. Off course again priorities can be changes

Mi sa che il finanziamento e le garanzie le mettano gli EAU con contratti fra governi e linee di finanziamento dedicate.
